This is a dry white wine, made from
100% Chenin grape variety grown on
a clay shale terroir, with excellent keeping

A large number of vintage years
are proposed at our Estate :
- Savennières Roche aux Moines
- Domaine aux Moines
Ranging from our 2001 priced at 11 € a bottle
to our 1998 at 15 € a bottle

When conditions are favourable
we make mellow or even sweet wines :
- Cuvée des Nonnes (mellow) 1997 (sold out)
- Cuvée des Nonnes (mellow) in 2002
Residual sugar is +/- 40 g/l
- Cuvée de l'Abbesse (sweet) in 2002
Residual sugar is +/- 80 g/l

The Anjou Villages at the Domaine aux Moines

We also produce an “Anjou Village” red (made from
70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon)
grown on the soil, or terroir, typical of the Roche aux Moines :
a clay shale terroir.
This is a very fruity wine that has red fruit and
cherry flavours, with a mineral finish.
